James graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Commerce and Accounting in 2002 and became a qualified Chartered Accountant in 2006. He landed his first professional role in a Chartered Accounting firm in 2003 but joined us three years later as he was nearing the end of his studies. He was awarded his Certificate of Public Practice and became a principal of our firm five years later in August 2011.

James’ niche is in building services, with most of his clients originating from the air-conditioning or roofing industries. He also advises on superannuation.

When he’s out of office, James loves spending time with his young family and cycling. He’s an avid Parramatta Eels and Portsmouth supporter.
